GENERAL ELECTION 2022

 

Persons selected to act as Assistant Electoral Commissioners or

Polling Place Officers

 

The Electoral Commission notifies that the details of the persons selected to act as Assistant Electoral Commissioners or Polling Place Officers (including reserves) during the voting for the General Elections, have been officially published in the Government Gazette of 10th March, 2022. 

 

The Electoral Commission notifies these persons serving as Assistant Electoral Commissioners or as Polling Place Officers (including as reserves) on 22nd March, 2022, that they shall be able to vote only on Saturday 19th March, 2022.  The rest of Assistant Electoral Commissioners and Polling Place Officers (including reserves) shall be able to vote only on Tuesday 22nd March, 2022, at the Vote Counting Complex in Naxxar if they are registered voters in Malta and at the Government Experimental Farm in Xewkija if they are voters registered under Gozo.  Assistant Electoral Commissioners or Polling Place Officers must attend personally to vote at the indicated place and day and must submit their voting document.  Voting hours shall be from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm without interruption.

 

On no account will these persons be allowed to vote on Saturday, 26th March, 2022, even if they withdraw from their post.
