PRESS RELEASE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

CASUAL ELECTION TO ELECT A MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT IN THE TWELFTH ELECTORAL DISTRICT

Casual Election in the Twelfth Electoral District to elect a member of Parliament following the resignation of Hon. Simon Busuttil.

The Electoral Commission notifies that five nominations were received until the last day allowed for nominations for a casual election for a member of Parliament.

Total number of nominations presented: 5

 

The Electoral Commission notifies that the counting of votes for the Casual Election to fill the seat vacated by Hon. Simon Busuttil, shall take place on Tuesday, 10th March 2020, at the Counting Hall Complex, Naxxar. The counting will begin at 9am.
