RELEASE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

 

CASUAL ELECTION TO ELECT A MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT IN THE SEVENTH ELECTORAL DIVISION

 

Casual Election in the Seventh Electoral Division to elect a member of Parliament following the resignation of Hon. Edward Scicluna.

 

The Electoral Commission notifies that three nominations were received until the last day allowed for nominations for a casual election for a member of Parliament.

 

Azzopardi Charles, Gulia Gavin and Pullicino Orlando Jeffrey

 

Total number of nominations presented: 3

 

 

The Electoral Commission notifies that the counting of votes for the Casual Election to

fill the seat vacated by Hon. Edward Scicluna, shall take place on Tuesday, 12th January, 2021, at the Counting Hall Complex, Naxxar. The counting will begin at 8.30am.
