NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

 

CASUAL ELECTION FOR A MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT

Casual Election in the seventh electoral district to elect a Member of Parliament following the resignation of the Hon. Jean Pierre Debono.

The Electoral Commissioners notify that until the last day allowed for nominations for a casual election for a Member of Parliament, nominations presented on Tuesday 26, Wednesday 27, Thursday 28, Friday 29 and Saturday 30th September are as follows:

Total number of nominations presented: 7

The Electoral Commission notifies that the counting of votes for the Casual Election to fill the seat vacated by the Hon. Jean Pierre Debono, shall take place on Tuesday, 3rd October 2017, at the Counting Complex, in-Naxxar. The counting will begin at 9am.
