PRESS RELEASE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

 

GENERAL ELECTION – 26TH MARCH, 2022

 

Persons who have not yet received their voting document

The Electoral Commission notifies those persons whose name appears in the Election Register  published on 25th February, 2022, subject to additions, deletions and corrections ordered by the revising officer, that they may call personally at their Local Police Station to collect their voting document by showing their Identity Card as follows:

From Wednesday 16th March 2022  till Friday 18th March 2022:

 between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm and between 3.00 pm and 9.00 pm;

On Saturday 19th March 2022: between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm;

 

On Sunday 20th March 2022: between 8.00 am and 12.00 pm.

 

In the locality of St. Paul’s Bay voting documents shall be collected from the Qawra Police Station.  In the locality of Marsaskala voting documents shall be collected from St Joachim’s Primary School.  In the localities of Attard, Birgu, Fontana, Għargħur, Għasri, Iklin, Kalkara, Kirkop, Lija, Mellieħa, Pembroke, Ta’ Xbiex and Xgħajra, voting documents shall be collected from the Local Council Office during the same days and hours.  All applicants must show their Identity card.  No other identity document will suffice.

 

Every voter should ensure that the voting document is in his/her possession as nobody will be allowed to vote without it.
