Notice by the Electoral Commission regarding the Moviment Patriotti Maltin

PRESS RELEASE

The Chief Electoral Commissioner refers to the Press Conference held on Friday, 8th April, 2016, by the Moviment Patriotti Maltin, in which the Secretary General, Mr H. Battistino, was reported as saying that the Movement’s statute had been already approved by the Electoral Commission.

The Chief Electoral Commissioner points out that this is incorrect since the Electoral Commission has yet to consider the Movement’s request for approval.  The Electoral Commission has only issued an acknowledgement to the Movement confirming receipt of a letter and their statute.
