LC 2024 - submission of income and expenditure sworn report of their electoral campaign
PRESS RELEASE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION ADDRESSED TO CANDIDATES WHO STOOD FOR LOCAL COUNCILS’ ELECTIONS (8TH JUNE, 2024)
The Electoral Commission reminds candidates who stood for the Local Councils’ elections and who have not yet submitted their income and expenditure sworn report of their electoral campaign, that by law they have until Tuesday 20th August, 2024, to do so. Whosoever fails to submit such report or submits it late would be breaching the provisions in regulation 101 of the Third Schedule in the Local Government Act (Cap. 363) and would be liable to the stipulated consequences.
