PRESS RELEASE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND LOCAL COUNCIL ELECTIONS – 25TH MAY, 2019

 

Persons who have not yet received their voting document/s

The Electoral Commission notifies those persons whose name appears in the Election Register  published on 13th April, 2019, subject to additions, deletions and corrections ordered by the revising officer, that they may call personally at their Local Police Station to collect their voting document/s by showing their Identity or Residence Card as follows:

 

On Friday 10th May: from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm;

 

From Saturday 11th till Friday 17th May: between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm and between 3.00 pm and 9.00 pm;

 

On Saturday 18th May: between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm;

 

On Sunday 19th May: between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm.

 

In the locality of St. Paul’s Bay voting documents shall be collected from the Qawra Police Station.  In the locality of Marsaskala voting documents shall be collected from St Joachim’s Primary School.  In the localities of Bormla, Fontana, Għasri, Iklin, Lija, Marsaxlokk,  Pembroke and Ta’ Xbiex, voting documents shall be collected from the Local Council Office during the same days and hours.  All applicants must show their Identity or Residence Card.  No other identity document will suffice.

 

Every voter should ensure that the voting documents are in his possession as nobody will be allowed to vote without them.
