European Parliament and Local Councils’ Elections – June 2024
Persons to serve as Assistant Electoral Commissioners and Polling Place Officers
The Electoral Commission notifies that it will receive applications from eligible persons to serve as Assistant Electoral Commissioners and Polling Place Officers in the forthcoming European Parilament and Local Councils’ Elections due on Saturday, 8th June, 2024. Applicants will be expected to attend a training session organised by the Electoral Commission in due course .
Applications will be received online (/applynow) as from next Monday, 12th February 2024 from 8.00am till Saturday, 9th March 2024 at 1.00pm.
Alternatively, applicants may submit their application by visiting the Electoral Office, Counting Hall Complex (Ex-Trade Fair Grounds), In-Naxxar or the ID Cards Office, 28A, St. Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo, between next Monday, 12th February 2024 till Saturday, 9th March 2024 from 8.00am to 1.00pm and from 3.00pm till 7.00pm between Monday and Friday and on Saturdays from 8.00am to 1.00pm. Applicants who call personally must bring their Identity Card.
Given that access to the Electoral Office premises in Naxxar is currently restricted due to infrastructural works in the vicinity, it is recommended that one reaches the Electoral Office through Triq Giuseppe Scicluna, on the left side of the Naxxar Parish Church, and proceeding on the left side upon reaching Pjazza Ċelsi.
