A collection of old files passed on to the National Archives
Today the Electoral Office deposited a collection of 1,192 general files that date back from 1944 till 1964 to the National Archives of Malta. Chief Electoral Commissioner, Mr Joseph Church, said this morning that the Office gave these files to the Archives so that they can be preserved, studied and appreciated from everyone that has a particular interest in the history of Maltese politics.
These documents can be viewed for research from Monday, 10th October, at the National Archives in Rabat.
