Verification of how the Candidate's name will be shown on the Ballot Paper
NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION
LOCAL COUNCILS' ELECTIONS - 10 MARCH 2007
The Electoral Commission notifies those candidates contesting the elections for the Local Councils of Birgu, Qormi, Siġġiewi, Attard, Birżebbuġa, Floriana, Gżira, Għargħur, Ħamrun, Luqa, Marsaxlokk, Mosta, Paola, Safi, Santa Luċija, Swieqi that they may call at the Office of the Electoral Commission, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta on Saturday 17th, and Monday 19th February from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. and as well as on Tuesday 20th February, 2007 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. to verify how their name will be shown on the ballot paper. Candidates for Kercem, Munxar, Qala, San Lawrenz, Xagħra and Żebbuġ (Gozo) may call at the ID Card Section, Republic Street, Rabat (Gozo), during the same dates and hours.
Request for any objection, addition, deletion or correction on the ballot paper should reach the Electoral Commission in writing by Tuesday, 20th February, 2007 till 3.00 p.m.14.02.2007
