delivery of voting Documents

NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

National Referendum – 28 May, 2011

The Electoral Commission notifies those persons in Malta and Gozo whose name is included in the Electoral Register published in October, 2010, that Maltapost Officers will be delivering voting documents as from Monday 11^th April to Saturday 16^th April, and on Monday, 18 ^th April: from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Sunday 17^th April, from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

It is necessary that at the place of residence there shall be either the person to whom the voting document is addressed, or an adult person, who either resides at the same address or is in the voter’s employment, to receive the voting documents and sign for their receipt. The Electoral Law allows political party representatives to accompany Maltapost officers during delivery of voting documents..

The voting document should be kept in a safe place, as nobody will be allowed to vote without it.
