National Referendum and Local Council Elections – April 2015

 

 

Voting by persons who shall be abroad or hospitalized on polling day –  11th April, 2015

 

The Electoral Commission reminds those voters who shall be abroad on polling day, Saturday, 11th April, 2015, and who wish to vote in advance on Saturday, 4th April, 2015, at Naxxar Counting Complex, that they have until noon of Friday, 3rd April, 2015, to effect a sworn/solemn statement in front of an Electoral Commissioner at the Office of the Electoral Commission, Evans Building, Merchants Street, Valletta, or at the Identity Cards Office, St. Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo, according to the hours indicated below:

 

Monday to Friday:                                                       from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm and

                                                                                    from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm

 

Saturdays, Sundays, 19th, 27th and 31st March:       from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm

 

Friday 3rd April (last half day):                                   from 8.00 am to noon

 

 

When a person calls to make a sworn/solemn statement it is important that one brings one’s own identity or residence card, and that on the day of advanced voting (4th April, 2015) the person must be in possession of one’s own voting document as, without it,  no one shall be allowed to vote.
