NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

Local Councils' Elections - March 2005

The Electoral Commission notifies those persons who intend to contest the elections for the Local Councils of Valletta, Isla, Żebbuġ(M), Żejtun, Balzan, Dingli, Fontana, Għajnsielem, Għasri, Iklin, Kirkop, Marsa, Mellieħa, Mqabba, Nadur, Pembroke, Qrendi, San Ġiljan, San Pawl il-Baħar, Santa Venera, Ta' Xbiex, Xewkija u Żurrieq, that if they would like to obtain information regarding the procedures that they are to follow in respect of these elections, they should contact the Electoral Office, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta.

As these procedures have various deadlines, it would be in the interest of prospective candidates to obtain information as soon as possible before the first day for the receipt of nominations, namely Thursday 3^rd February, 2005.
