NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

ELECTION FOR MEMBERS OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND
LOCAL COUNCILS ELECTIONS
6 JUNE 2009

The Electoral Commission reminds persons who have been appointed as Assistant Electoral Commissioners or Polling Place Officers, that they may cast their vote ONLY on Friday 5^th June, 2009, at the Naxxar Counting Complex between 7.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m. A free-of-charge bus shuttle service from the Valletta Terminus to Naxxar and vice-versa shall be provided. Buses will depart from Valletta to Naxxar on the hour from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. and from Naxxar to Valletta from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.

A direct Bus service from Cirkewwa to Naxxar (with return) shall depart Cirkewwa after arrival of the ferry-boats scheduled to leave Mgarr at 9.45 a.m., 3.00 p.m., 5.15 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. These facilities are being organised for Assistant Electoral Commissioners or Polling Place Officers residing or serving in Gozo. These persons have to present their identification tag to the bus driver.
