NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION
ELECTION FOR MEMBERS OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND
LOCAL COUNCILS’ ELECTIONS
6 JUNE 2009
The Electoral Commission notifies those persons who have been appointed as Assistant Electoral Commissioners, Reserves and Polling Place Officers for the forthcoming European Parliament and Local Councils elections that they have to attend for a briefing at the Mediterrean Conference Centre, Valletta or at the Ninu Cremona School, Boys' Complex, Rabat, Gozo, as indicated in the schedule attached with this notice.
Assistant Electoral Commissioners, Reserves and Polling Place Officers who have been selected and whose names are published in the Government Gazette of Friday 15th May 2009, are reminded that they MAY CAST THEIR VOTE ONLY on Friday, 5th June, 2009, at the Naxxar Counting Complex, even if they withdraw from their appointment.
Assistant Electoral Commissioners, Reserves and Polling Place Officers are requested to attend on the day and time as specified for them so that they may be briefed by the Electoral Commission and make any questions which they might have.
Assistant Electoral Commissioners, Reserves and Polling Place officers have to bring with them the instruction booklet as well as all printed material sent to them by the Electoral Commission. These officers are reminded that they must get well acquainted with the instructions of the aforementioned booklet.
