Verification of how the Candidate’s name will be shown on the Ballot Paper

The Electoral Commission notifies those candidates contesting the elections for the Local Councils of Valletta, Isla, Żebbuġ(M), Żejtun, Balzan, Dingli, Fontana, Għajnsielem, Għasri, Iklin, Kirkop, Marsa, Mellieħa, Mqabba, Nadur, Pembroke, Qrendi, San Ġiljan, San Pawl il-Baħar, Santa Venera, Ta' Xbiex, Xewkija and Żurrieq, that they may call at the Office of the Electoral Commission, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta on Sunday 17th February, 2008 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. as well as on Monday 18th February, 2008 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. to verify how their name will be shown on the ballot paper. Candidates for Fontana, Għajnsielem, Għasri, Nadur and Xewkija may call at the I.D. Card Section, 28A, St. Francis Square, Rabat (Gozo), during the same dates and hours.

Requests for any objection, addition, deletion or correction on the ballot paper should reach the Electoral Commission in writing by noon of Tuesday, 19th February, 2008.
