NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

LOCAL COUNCILS' ELECTIONS - 11 MARCH 2006

Verification of how the Candidate's name will be shown on the Ballot Paper

The Electoral Commission notifies those candidates contesting the elections for the Local Councils of Mdina, Bormla, Żabbar, Rabat (G), Birkirkara, Fgura, Gudja, Għarb, Għaxaq, Kalkara, Lija, Marsaskala, Mġarr, Msida, Naxxar, Pieta’, Rabat, San Ġwann, Sannat, Sliema, Tarxien, Xgħajra, and Mtarfa that they may call at the Office of the Electoral Commission, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta on Saturday 18th, and Monday 20th February from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. and as well as on Tuesday 21st February, 2006 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. to verify how their name will be shown on the ballot paper. Candidates for Rabat, Għarb and Sannat may call at the ID Card Section, Republic Street, Rabat (Gozo), during the same dates and hours.

Request for any objection, addition, deletion or correction on the ballot paper should reach the Electoral Commission in writing by Tuesday, 21st February, 2006 till 3.00 p.m.
