NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

LOCAL COUNCILS' ELECTIONS - 12 MARCH 2005

The Electoral Commission notifies those persons selected to serve as Assistant Electoral Commissioners and whose names have appeared in the Government Gazette of Thursday 17^th February, 2005, that they are to attend a briefing session at the Republic Hall of the Mediterranean Conference Centre on Tuesday 8^th March at 5.30 p.m. Those Assistant Electoral Commissioners serving in Gozo should attend a briefing session at the Ninu Cremona Junior Lyceum Complex, F. Mizzi Street, Rabat, Gozo, on Monday 7^th March at 2.30 p.m.

Assistant Electoral Commissioners are therefore urged to attend their relative briefing session to receive instructions from the Electoral Commission. Time will be allotted for questions. Those who fail to attend will be considered as having terminated their appointment.

Assistant Electoral Commissioners are to bring with them the booklet issued and sent to them by the Electoral Commission which booklet should be carefully read in advance.
