NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

LOCAL COUNCILS' ELECTIONS - 12 MARCH 2005

The Electoral Commission notifies that the Identity Cards Section at its offices in Valletta and Rabat, Gozo, shall with immediate effect until 5^th March remain open for the residents of localities in which local council elections are being held. These are: Valletta, Isla, Żebbuġ, Balzan, Dingli, Fontana, Għajnsielem, Għasri, Iklin, Kirkop, Mellieħa, Mqabba, Nadur, Pembroke, Qrendi, San Ġiljan, San Pawl il-Baħar, Santa Venera, Ta' Xbiex, Xewkija and Żurrieq. These additional opening hours are in the afternoons from 2.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. (Monday to Friday) and on Saturday mornings between 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.

The normal hours for the general public, 8.00 a.m. to noon, Mondays to Fridays, shall remain unaltered.
