L.C. ELECTIONS - Verification of how the Candidates's name will be shown on the Ballot Paper

NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

LOCAL COUNCILS’ ELECTIONS
6 JUNE 2009

The Electoral Commission notifies those candidates contesting the elections for the Local Councils of Mdina, Bormla, Żabbar, Birkirkara, Fgura, Gudja, Għaxaq, Kalkara, Lija, Marsaskala, Mġarr, Msida, Naxxar, Pieta’. Rabat, San Ġwann, Sliema, Tarxien, Xgħajra and Mtarfa, that they may call at the Office of the Electoral Commission, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta on Monday 11^th May, 2009 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. as well as on Tuesday 12^th May, 2009 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. to verify how their name will be shown on the ballot paper. Candidates for Rabat (Gozo), Għarb, and Sannat may call at the I.D. Card Section, 28A, St. Francis Square, Rabat (Gozo), during the same dates and hours.

Requests for any objection, addition, deletion or correction on the ballot paper should reach the Electoral Commission in writing by 1.00 p.m. of Tuesday, 12^th May, 2009.
