NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

LOCAL COUNCILS ELECTIONS
10 MARCH 2012

The Electoral Commission notifies those candidates contesting the elections for the Local Councils of Birgu, L-Isla, Ħal Qormi, Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Is-Siġġiewi, Ħ’Attard, Ħal Balzan, Birżebbuġa, Ħad-Dingli, Floriana, Il-Ġzira, Ħal Għargħur, Il-Ħamrun, L-Iklin, Ħal-Kirkop, Ħal-Luqa, Il-Marsa, Marsaxlokk, Il-Mosta, Paola, Ħal Safi, San Ġiljan, San Pawl il-Baħar, Santa Luċija, Is-Swieqi and Iż-Zurrieq, that they may call at the Office of the Electoral Commission, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta on Wednesday 15^th from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. and as well as on Thursday 16^th February, 2012, from 8.00 a.m. to noon, to verify how their name will be shown on the ballot paper. Candidates for Għajnsielem, Ta’ Kercem, Il-Munxar, In-Nadur, Il-Qala, San Lawrenz, Ix-Xagħra u Iż-Żebbuġ (G), may call at the Identity Cards Office, St. Francis Square, Rabat (Gozo), during the same dates and hours.

Requests for any objection, addition, deletion or correction on the ballot paper should reach the Electoral Commission in writing by Thursday 16^th February, 2012, till 3.00 p.m.
