NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

Local Councils' Elections – 10 March 2012

The Electoral Commission notifies that it will receive applications for Assistant Electoral Commissioners for the forthcoming Local Councils Elections. Applications will be accepted only from voters registered (in the October, 2011, Register) in the localities of Birgu, L-Isla, Ħal Qormi, Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Is-Siġġiewi, Ħ’Attard, Ħal Balzan, Birżebbuġa, Ħad-Dingli, Floriana, Il-Ġzira, Għajnsielem, Ħal Għargħur, Il-Ħamrun, L-Iklin, Ta’ Kerċem, Ħal-Kirkop, Ħal-Luqa, Il-Marsa, Marsaxlokk, Il-Mosta, Il-Munxar, In-Nadur, Paola, Il-Qala, Ħal Safi, San Ġiljan, San Lawrenz, San Pawl il-Baħar, Santa Luċija, Tas-Sliema, Is-Swieqi, Ix-Xagħra, Iż-Żebbuġ and Iż-Zurrieq.

Applications will be received by the Electoral Commission at its Office, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta, and for persons residing in Gozo at the Identity Cards office, 28A St. Francis Square, Rabat, Gozo, from Monday 30^th January up to Wednesday 1^st February, 2012, from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Application forms, the only ones admissible, may be obtained from the same Offices on the above mentioned dates and times.
