nominations by prospective Sliema candidates

NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

SLIEMA LOCAL COUNCIL ELECTION 10^th MARCH, 2012

Prospective candidates who intend to stand for the Sliema Local Council election are notified that the Electoral Commission shall receive their nomination at its Office, Evans Building, Valletta, on Wednesday 15^th, Thursday 16^th and Friday 17^th February, 2012, between 9.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.

Nomination papers may be collected from today, from the above mentioned office during normal office hours.

The Electoral Commission urges prospective candidates to familiarize themselves with the election procedures, especially in view of the various legal deadlines. Assistance and information is available from the Electoral Office.
