NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

LOCAL COUNCILS ELECTIONS
10 MARCH 2012

The Electoral Commission notifies those voters residing in Birgu, L-Isla, Ħal Qormi, Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Is-Siġġiewi, Ħ’Attard, Ħal Balzan, Birżebbuġa, Ħad-Dingli, Floriana, Il-Ġzira, Għajnsielem, Ħal Għargħur, Il-Ħamrun, L-Iklin, Ta’ Kerċem, Ħal-Kirkop, Ħal-Luqa, Il-Marsa, Marsaxlokk, Il-Mosta, Il-Munxar, In-Nadur, Paola, Il-Qala, Ħal Safi, San Ġiljan, San Lawrenz, San Pawl il-Baħar, Santa Luċija, Is-Swieqi, Ix-Xagħra, Iż-Żebbuġ and Iż-Zurrieq, and whose name appears in the Electoral Register published in October 2011, and who have not received their voting document, that they may call personally at their local Police Station to collect their voting document from Wednesday, 22nd February till Saturday, 3^rd March, 2012.

Mondays to Fridays: between 3.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m.

Saturdays 25^thFebruary and 3^rd March and Sunday, 26^th February between 8.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.

Every such voter must attend personally to collect his/her voting document and needs to show the identity card.

For the localities of Iklin and Swieqi, voting documents will be distributed from the respective Local Council Office and those of St. Paul’s Bay will be distributed from the Qawra Police Station. Voting documents pertaining to voters in Sliema are still being delivered at registered addresses and will continue to be so delivered until noon of Monday, 27^th February, 2012, and commence being distributed from the Sliema Police Station from Tuesday, 28^th February, until Saturday, 3^rd March, 2012, during the above-mentioned hours.

Every voter should ensure that the voting document is in his possession as nobody will be allowed to vote without it.
