General and Local Councils elections - notice to Assistant Electoral Commissioners and Polling Place Officers

NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

LOCAL COUNCILS ELECTIONS

The Electoral Commission reminds persons who have been appointed as Assistant Electoral Commissioners or Polling Place Officers, that they may cast their vote ONLY on Friday 7^th March, 2008, at the Naxxar Counting Complex. A free-of-charge bus shuttle service from the Valletta Terminus to Naxxar and vice-versa shall be provided. Buses will depart from Valletta to Naxxar on the hour from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. and from Naxxar to Valletta from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.

A direct Bus service from Cirkewwa to Naxxar (with return) shall be available at 9.30 a.m., 3.30 p.m., 5.00 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. These facilities are being organised for Assistant Electoral Commissioners residing or serving in Gozo. These persons have to present their identification tag.
