E.P. & A.C.C. ELECTIONS: voting by Assistant Electoral Commissioners and Polling Place Officers

NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEES FOR COMMUNITIES ELECTIONS – MAY 2014

The Electoral Commission reminds persons who have been appointed as Assistant Electoral Commissioners or Polling Place Officers, that they may cast their vote ONLY on Friday 23rd May, 2014, by personally attending at the Naxxar Counting Complex between 7.00 am and 10.00 pm and by presenting their voting document.

Those who are entitled to vote for their Administrative Committee must also take their Identity Card or Residence document.

Every selected person whose name appeared listed in the Government Gazette of 21st April, 2014, may only vote as above even if one has refused or resigned one’s appointment.

On Friday, 23rd May, an hourly coach shuttle service from opposite the Phoenicia Hotel in Floriana to Naxxar and vice-versa shall be provided. Coaches will depart to Naxxar on the hour from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm and from Naxxar back to Valletta from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm.

For Assistant Electoral Commissioners and Polling Place Officers residing in Gozo, a direct coach service from Cirkewwa to Naxxar (with return) shall be available at 10.05 am, 3.20 pm, 5.35 pm and 7.35 pm.

These services of 23rd May are free of charge provided each authorized person shows the identification tag issued by the Electoral Commission.
