GENERAL AND LOCAL COUNCILS’ ELECTIONS - 2013
Closure of the Identity Cards Office
The Electoral Commission notifies that, owing to work in connection with General and Local elections, the identity cards offices in Valletta and Rabat (Gozo), shall be CLOSED from Monday 4th to Tuesday 12th March, 2013. Exceptions will be made from 4th to 8th March for those who solemnly swear or declare that they have lost their I.D. Card and for those who intend to use their I.D. Card as a travel document. The offices shall re-open on Wednesday 13th March, 2013. However, on Saturday, 16th March, 2013, the offices shall also be closed due to the counting of votes of Local Councils’ elections.
