Special entry permits for relatives of persons at Hospitals to assist family members on Friday 8^th March

NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION

GENERAL AND LOCAL COUNCILS’ ELECTIONS - 2013

The Electoral Commission notifies that where voting shall take place on Friday, 8th March, 2013, and there are residents registered as voters at St. Vincent de Paule, Mount Carmel Hospital and at Gozo General Hospital, those relatives who applied for a special entry permit for Friday, 8th March, 2013, to assist their family member from his/her ward to the voting zone, that they may call at the Electoral Office from today to collect their Identification Tag. Office hours are from 2.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

On the day of the poll, ONLY authorized persons displaying their identification tag issued by the Electoral Commission shall be allowed entry into St. Vincent de Paule, Mount Carmel Hospital and Gozo General Hospital.

Such identification tag is, however, not required for entry into Mater Dei and Karen Grech Hospitals (where there are no voters registered under these institutions) on the day of the poll, Friday, 8th March, 2013.
