ELECTIONS OF ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEES FOR COMMUNITIES
SATURDAY 5 JUNE 2010

Persons nominated by Political Parties etc to serve as Assistant Electoral Commissioners; Counters; Supervisors; Party Agents and Counting Agents

The Electoral Commission notifies the political parties contesting the elections for the Administrative Committees for the Communities of Gwardamangia (Pieta’), St. Peter’s (Haz-Zabbar), Hal-Farrug (Hal Luqa), Il-Bahrija (Ir-Rabat), Tal-Virtu’ (Ir-Rabat), Is-Swatar (Birkirkara u L-Imsida), Bahar ic-Caghaq (In-Naxxar) and Burmarrad (San Pawl il-Bahar), and any person or any group of persons contesting the elections for the Administrative Committees for Communities as one group bearing the same name, that according to regulations 27(1), 55(3) and 30(3) of the Third Schedule of the Local Councils’ Act (Chap.363), they have up to Monday 10th May, 2010 to submit to the Electoral Commission lists wherein they nominate persons to serve as Assistant Electoral Commissioners, Counters, Supervisors and Party Agents.

Political Parties may submit, up to Saturday 15th May, 2010, to the Electoral Commission a list of names of persons to serve as Counting Agents. The number of Counting Agents must be equal to the number of candidates contesting the election with that party in the respective community.
