NOTICE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION
ELECTIONS FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEES OF COMMUNITIES – MAY 2014
The Electoral Commissioners notify that they will be in attendance at their office in Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta and at the Identity Cards Office, 28 A St. Francis Square, Rabat, Gozo, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm on Tuesday 8th , Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th, April, 2014, to receive nominations by candidates for the forthcoming elections of the Administrative Committees of the Communities of:
Fleur-de-Lys in the locality Birkirkara
Santa Lu`ija in the locality Ta’ Kercem
Gwardaman[a in the locality Tal-Pietà
Paceville in the locality San Giljan
Kappara in the locality San Gwann
Madliena in the locality Is-Swieqi
Marsalforn in the locality Iż-Zebbug
Bubaqra in the locality Iż-Zurrieq
Xlendi in the locality Il-Munxar
Tal-Virtù in the locality of Ir-Rabat
Ħal Farruġ in the locality of Ħal Luqa
St Peter ’s in the locality of Ħaż Żabbar
Is-Swatar in the localites of Birkirkara and L-Imsida
Burmarrad in the locality of San Pawl il-Baħar
Il-Baħrija in the locality of Ir-Rabat
Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq in the locality of Naxxar
Prospective candidates are advised to present their identity card and that the top section of the nomination form should reflect the details of the candidate as shown in the electoral register being published on 7th April, 2014. In case that the nomination form needs to be submitted by a representative of the candidate, the representative must supply a power of attorney authenticated by a notary public.
Application forms for prospective candidates may be downloaded from the website of the Electoral Commission or may be obtained from the Office of the Electoral Commission as from today and during nomination days.
Objections to nominations shall be received at the same office during the days and hours established for nominations as well as on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th April, 2014, during the same hours.
